Part-Time Emergency Department Nurse Supervisor

Role Overview:
Responsible for coordinating patient care, personnel management, equipment maintenance, and statistical tracking in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage staff including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and conducting professional development.

Participate in staffing, budgeting, and ensuring departmental operational goals are met.

Oversee patient care aligned with planned interventions, documenting according to policies.

Develop and implement collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments.

Review staff hours, manage payroll updates, and handle staff communication, scheduling, and disciplinary actions.

Ensure staff productivity and meet departmental objectives, conducting performance evaluations and recommending improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• RN licensure with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
• 2-5 years of experience; supervisor experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• 5-10 years of experience; at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
