Role Overview
This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining and purchasing equipment, and overseeing departmental operations. The role includes hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and implementing professional development plans for staff.
Responsibilities encompass developing staffing, revenue, and expense budgets, ensuring adherence to financial goals, and managing patient care plans tailored to patients’ age and developmental needs. The role also involves reviewing staff hours, payroll processing, staff communication, and making staffing and scheduling decisions, including overtime and performance evaluations.
Qualifications include a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree, RN licensure, and 2-5 years of experience. Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, 5-10 years of experience, and supervisory experience of less than 2 years.
