Part-Time Emergency Department Nurse

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, following nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities: Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs. Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans. Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations. Maintains safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe work practices.

Qualifications: Nursing diploma or associate’s degree required; RN licensure essential. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in nursing and two years of experience. No supervisory experience necessary.
