Part-Time Clinical Pharmacist

Role Overview:

This Pharmacist role involves supporting high-quality cancer care within a nationally recognized NCCN/NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center. The pharmacist will oversee sterile medication compounding, evaluate medication orders for appropriateness, and ensure accurate preparation and dispensing. They will supervise technicians, interns, and volunteers, while providing drug information, staff training, and medication therapy services to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage workflow and supervise pharmacy personnel in compliance with regulations
  • Participate in departmental meetings and committees
  • Serve as a medication therapy resource for drug information and staff education
  • Assess medication orders, monitor patient conditions, and document activities
  • Identify opportunities to improve safety and efficiency in medication use

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required; Doctorate preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience; supervisor experience not required
  • Licensed Pharmacist with MO Medication Therapy Services certification
  • Strong knowledge of medication management, patient care, and regulatory compliance
