Role Overview:
A licensed pharmacist responsible for providing comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services, including Medication Therapy Services (MTS) protocols that support clinical intervention and medication optimization.
In this collaborative, team-oriented environment, you’ll assess, monitor, initiate, and modify medication use based on patient condition and age-specific criteria. You will supervise supportive personnel, ensure accurate medication preparation and dispensing, and serve as a medication therapy resource for staff and patient care activities.
Key duties include evaluating medication orders for appropriateness, resolving medication-related issues, participating in departmental meetings, and promoting safety and efficiency within the medication use process.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, 2+ years of experience, licensure as an RPh, and certification in Medication Therapy Services in MO. Preferred qualifications include a Doctorate in Pharmacy and 2-5 years of experience.
