Role Overview:
This nursing position involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced PACU environment, focusing on interventional radiology cases and pre/post-operative bays. The role includes assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs, with an emphasis on patient and family-centered care. Nurses educate patients on managing their recovery, medication, and post-treatment needs, while promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Collaboration with an interprofessional team is essential for developing and communicating individualized care plans that consider physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual factors.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care aligned with standards and guidelines.
- Assess and evaluate patients’ physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-care instructions.
- Participate in initiatives enhancing patient safety and quality of care.
- Develop and document personalized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care teams.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational requirement: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Licensure: Valid RN license.
- Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred.
