Part-Time Clinical Nurse – Orthopedics

Role Overview:

Provides direct patient care in an orthopedic unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medications.
  • Participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and engages in ongoing professional development.
  • Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
  • Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and barriers.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Educational requirement: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Licensure: Active RN license.
  • Experience: No prior experience required; two years of experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and assessment skills are essential.
