Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Participates in activities to enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engages in professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, and spiritual factors.
- Communicates effectively across the continuum of care to ensure seamless patient management.
- Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness and safety awareness.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
- Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred.
