Part Time Cardiac Nurse

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care within high risk cardiac units, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care in accordance with established standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
  • Participate in activities that enhance patient safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
  • Use critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
  • Contribute to a safe environment and maintain alertness for safety-sensitive tasks.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Required: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree and RN license.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and two years of experience.
  • Additional experience in telemetry or cardiac care is advantageous.
