Part Time – Cardiac Clinical Nurse

Role Overview

This position involves providing direct patient care within a high-risk cardiac unit, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation according to nursing standards. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and communicate personalized care plans. Critical nursing skills are essential to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and barriers to involvement.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance while engaging in ongoing professional development.
  • Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals, facilitating communication across care continuum.
  • Assess patient conditions comprehensively, considering cultural, emotional, and spiritual factors.
  • Participate in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Educational requirements include a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Licensure as an RN is mandatory; no prior experience required, but two years of experience is preferred for advanced roles.
  • Preferred experience includes telemetry or cardiac care.
