Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care within a high-risk cardiac unit, including assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation according to nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care continuum.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural backgrounds.
- Maintain safety-sensitive standards, requiring alertness and safe work practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
- Licensure: Valid RN license.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
- Additional: Telemetry/Cardiac experience is preferred.
