Part Time Cardiac Clinical Nurse

Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care in a high-risk cardiac unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and ensures safety and regulatory compliance. Develops and documents individualized care plans, collaborates with the healthcare team, and evaluates physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient values and cultural considerations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate patient conditions using critical nursing skills
  • Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and medication management
  • Participate in safety, quality, and professional development activities
  • Communicate care plans effectively across the continuum of care
  • Support a healing environment through patient-centered approaches

Qualifications & Skills:

  • RN license required
  • Nursing diploma or associate degree; bachelor’s preferred
  • Experience in telemetry or cardiac care is preferred
  • Ability to work safely and remain alert in a healthcare setting
