Part Time – Cardiac Clinical Nurse

Role Overview

This position involves providing direct patient care in a high-risk cardiac unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
  • Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.
  • Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
  • Use critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers.
  • Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness and safe practices.
  • Qualifications & Skills

    • Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing (RN license required)
    • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience
    • Experience in telemetry or cardiac care is advantageous
