Part Time – Cardiac Clinical Nurse

Role Overview

This position involves providing direct patient care in a high-risk cardiac unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities

Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.

Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.

Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families.

Use critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers.

Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness and safe practices.

Qualifications & Skills

Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing (RN license required)
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience
Experience in telemetry or cardiac care is advantageous
