Role Overview: Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote patient and family-centered care in a healing environment, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population-specific factors.
- Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness and safe practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree; preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- RN licensure required.
- At least 2 years of nursing experience is preferred; no supervisory experience necessary.
Additional Requirements: ED or ICU experience is preferred.
