PACU – Clinical Nurse (Part-Time)

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs according to nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
  • Ensures patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development.
  • Develops and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families, ensuring clear communication across care settings.
  • Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Licensed RN with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work safely in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness.

Preferred Experience: PACU, ED, or ICU experience is advantageous.
