PACU – Clinical Nurse (Part-Time)

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
  • Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance while engaging in professional development.
  • Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with clear goals in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
  • Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree and RN licensure.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
  • Experience in PACU, ED, or ICU is a plus.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills; ability to work safely and alertly in a safety-sensitive role.
