We are hiring a full-time Outpatient Therapist in Bad Axe, MI, to provide clinical services to children, adolescents, and adults with emotional disturbances, disabilities, mental health issues, and co-occurring substance use disorders.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing individual and family therapy with evidence-based methods
- Facilitating therapeutic or psycho-educational groups
- Handling documentation, authorizations, and liaising with schools, courts, and community partners
- Utilizing person-centered and short-term treatment approaches
- Maintaining a 50% face-to-face contact productivity standard
- Participating in staffings, emergency meetings, supervision, and on-call duties
- Supporting culturally-informed, trauma-informed, and recovery-based practices
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field (required)
- At least 2 years of community outpatient mental health experience preferred
- Current Michigan licensure (LMSW, CAADC preferred)
- Strong assessment and therapy skills, collaborative approach, commitment to trauma-informed care
