We are seeking a Senior Mental Health Counselor to support a Walk-In Behavioral Health Clinic in Anchorage.
Responsibilities include providing counseling, education, and case management to clients within structured programs, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and assisting in developing program processes and group curricula.
The role requires demonstrating advanced clinical skills, serving as a resource for clinicians, and exemplifying core values.
Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field, with a valid Alaska clinical license (e.g., Social Worker, Psychologist, Counselor).
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience and current Basic Life Support certification are also required.
Key duties involve delivering clinical care, supporting program development, and functioning within a team to promote patient-centered, whole-person care.
