We are seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to provide orthopedic trauma surgery coverage in a Level 1 trauma center. The role involves managing complex cases, performing OR procedures, ICU and hospital rounding, and supporting the emergency department. The PA will work day shifts from 6am to 2pm on weekdays and take 24-hour call shifts on weekends, with an average of 20 patients daily. Responsibilities include post-operative care, consultations, and supporting the surgical team, utilizing the eClinicalWorks EMR system. The position requires ACLS or ATLS certification, prescriptive authority, and experience with reductions and washouts. Support staff includes RNs, and the patient population spans all ages. The role offers on-site work with a focus on trauma cases, emergency support, and hospital-based duties.
