We are seeking an orthopedic surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care, complementing your current practice. This role involves treating patients during a 4-hour weekly or biweekly shift, offering flexibility to fit your schedule.
Responsibilities include managing complex cases, facilitating return to work, and collaborating with medical and therapy providers on non-surgical and surgical orthopedic injuries. You will communicate with employers and participate in case management, making a meaningful impact on patients’ lives.
Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, licensure in your state, MD or DO graduation, unrestricted DEA license, and board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery. Must have medical malpractice insurance.
