We seek an orthopedic surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care during 4-hour weekly or biweekly shifts, complementing your practice.
Responsibilities include managing complex patients, facilitating return to work, and collaborating with medical teams on non-surgical and surgical treatments for work-related injuries. Active communication with employers and case management is required.
Qualifications:
– Experience with work-related injuries preferred
– State licensure, MD or DO degree, unrestricted DEA license
– Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
– Medical malpractice insurance coverage
