We are seeking an orthopedic surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care during 4-hour shifts weekly or biweekly, complementing your practice.
The role involves managing complex patients, facilitating return to work, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams to treat orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries, including both surgical and non-surgical cases. You will communicate with employers and participate in case management, making a meaningful impact on patient recovery.
Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, licensure, board certification or eligibility in orthopedic surgery, unrestricted DEA license, and malpractice insurance.
