We are seeking an orthopedic surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care at our location. This flexible position involves treating patients for about 4 hours weekly or biweekly, complementing your practice.
Responsibilities include managing complex cases, facilitating return to work, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams to provide surgical and non-surgical care for work-related injuries. You will also communicate with employers and participate in case management.
Qualifications:
– Experience with work-related injuries preferred
– State licensure and unrestricted DEA license
– Board Certified or Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
– Medical malpractice insurance required
