Role Overview: This position supports pharmaceutical packaging operations, focusing on preparing materials, operating and troubleshooting packaging equipment, and ensuring quality standards are met.
Responsibilities include:
- Verifying and preparing packaging materials and equipment for production.
- Setting up and changing over packaging machines according to work instructions and SOPs.
- Operating packaging machinery, troubleshooting issues, and making adjustments as needed.
- Packaging raw materials into finished products that meet specifications.
- Collaborating with maintenance for mechanical repairs and supporting sanitation efforts.
- Understanding batch records, accurately documenting processes, and maintaining compliance.
- Participating in technical and safety training, adhering to cGMPs and safety protocols.
- Maintaining cleanliness in work areas and supporting team efforts to meet production goals.
- Engaging in continuous improvement activities and working collaboratively with quality teams.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Preferred minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English; basic math skills.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work overtime when necessary.
