Travel RN – Operating Room delivers high-quality perioperative nursing care, providing safe, patient-centered support for a variety of surgical procedures.
Key Duties
- Circulate and scrub during diverse surgical cases.
- Coordinate care with surgeons and anesthesia teams.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety, sterile technique, and perioperative protocols.
- Assess patients preoperatively and intraoperatively.
- Document patient care accurately in the EMR.
- Educate patients and families as part of perioperative care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered nurse with operating room/perioperative experience.
- Strong understanding of sterile processing, safety standards, and surgical workflow.
- Excellent clinical judgment, patient assessment, and documentation skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to provide clear patient education and compassionate care.
