RN Operating Room position responsible for delivering safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care.
Key Duties
- Prepare operating rooms and maintain readiness for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons during operations by coordinating sterile technique and equipment needs.
- Monitor patients’ condition throughout the perioperative phase and respond to changes.
- Support patients during the surgical journey with compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Maintain rigorous infection prevention, health, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth, efficient procedure flow.
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) with operating room/perioperative experience.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in sterile technique and knowledge of safety and infection control practices.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary surgical team.
- Excellent communication and bedside manner with patients and families.
