Role Overview:
The RN Circulator is a vital member of the perioperative team, providing high-quality, safe patient care in the operating room. They coordinate and perform clinical activities based on evidence-based practice, ensuring individualized care and partnering with patients and families to meet their needs. The role involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, documentation, and supporting performance improvement initiatives. The RN is responsible for maintaining professional standards, participating in research, mentoring colleagues, and upholding organizational policies and safety standards. They must demonstrate strong critical thinking, time management, and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
– Associates or Bachelor’s Nursing degree preferred
– Valid RN license (single or multi-state)
– BLS certification
– 1-2 years of circulating experience in the OR
– Proficient in English, technology, and clinical documentation
– Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and emergency response skills
