We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide quality therapy services within a healthcare setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing therapy treatments as delegated by the supervising therapist.
- Communicating residents’ progress and treatment updates to the therapist and physician.
- Assisting with resident care activities and maintaining accurate department records.
- Consulting with healthcare professionals regarding residents’ condition changes during treatment.
Qualifications and skills required:
- Graduation from an accredited therapy assistant program and eligibility for certification/licensure per state regulations.
- Registration or eligibility for registration as a therapy assistant in Colorado.
- Ability to understand medical terminology relevant to therapy and communicate effectively with residents, staff, and physicians.
