Occupational Therapy Assistant
Support licensed occupational therapists in delivering patient-centered care across inpatient and outpatient settings. Assist with implementing treatment plans, performing therapeutic activities, and providing education to help patients restore functional independence. Document patient progress and contribute to accurate, timely clinical records.
Key Duties
- Assist therapists with the delivery and execution of OT treatment plans.
- Help patients engage in therapeutic activities aimed at improving daily living and functional skills.
- Provide patient/caregiver education under clinician guidance.
- Document observations and patient progress according to clinical standards.
- Support a collaborative, inclusive care environment focused on continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Credentialed Occupational Therapy Assistant (as required by role requirements).
- Strong communication and patient-focused care skills.
- Ability to follow treatment plans and work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Attention to documentation accuracy and clinical detail.
