Occupational Therapy Team Leader


Role Overview: Lead and support an occupational therapy team in a rehabilitation setting, ensuring seamless operations, patient-centered care, and achievement of recovery goals. Collaborate with the Director of Therapy Operations to manage staffing, training, and communication with hospital departments. Provide direct therapy care, build strong patient relationships, and celebrate patient progress.


Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with daily team operations, scheduling, and staff training
  • Delivering personalized therapy to patients based on their physical, mental, and emotional needs
  • Guiding and mentoring therapy staff to ensure quality care
  • Monitoring and supporting patient progress and outcomes


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Current state licensure or certification
  • CPR certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an accredited therapy program
  • At least three years of occupational therapy or leadership experience, including two years of clinical practice
  • Professional certifications or Therapy Clinical Ladder eligibility preferred
