Occupational Therapist – PRN

Role: Occupational Therapist (PRN) in an acute care setting, providing skilled therapy services to diverse patient populations including orthopedic, surgical, oncology, cardiac, and general medical cases.


Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements individualized treatment plans considering discharge needs and functional goals.
  • Educates and collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare teams; makes referrals to specialists as needed.
  • Delegates tasks to assistants, techs, and students, assessing their competency levels.
  • Completes documentation in accordance with departmental policies.
  • Provides assessments, reassessments, and consultations for occupational therapy services.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Preferred Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
