Role Overview:
Seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist with hand therapy experience to join a multidisciplinary outpatient team. This role involves evaluating and treating patients with various physical impairments affecting work or leisure activities, with a focus on 1:1 patient care. The therapist will develop treatment plans, educate patients and collaborate with healthcare providers, delegating tasks appropriately. Responsibilities include assessment, consultation, and intervention based on clinical guidelines, along with supporting staff development and process improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Board certification and licensure in area of expertise
- Preferred: Master’s Degree
Key Duties:
- Establish and implement individualized treatment plans
- Educate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team
- Delegate tasks to assistants, techs, and students based on competency
- Conduct assessments and deliver services aligned with department policies
- Participate in staff development, process improvement, and research activities
