We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist with experience in hand therapy to join a multidisciplinary outpatient team. The role involves providing outpatient evaluation and treatment for patients with physical impairments affecting daily activities and work. The therapist will develop individualized treatment plans, educate patients and families, collaborate with healthcare providers, and delegate tasks to assistants and students. Responsibilities include assessments, consultations, and participating in process improvements and research projects.
- Establish treatment plans considering discharge needs and appropriate equipment.
- Educate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams, making referrals as needed.
- Delegate interventions based on staff skill levels through clear communication.
- Adhere to clinical guidelines and department policies in assessments and treatments.
- Contribute to staff development, care delivery, and innovation initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field.
- 2-5 years of experience; supervision experience is not required.
- Board Certification and licensure in area of expertise.
- Preferred: Master’s Degree.
