Position Overview: This role is for a Home Health Occupational Therapist (OT) responsible for delivering personalized therapy to patients in their homes, focusing on improving daily functioning and safety.
Assess patients, establish therapy goals, and document progress while working as part of a multidisciplinary team. Provide exercises to enhance fine motor skills and coordination, and suggest adaptive equipment to support independence. Evaluate fall risks and develop strategies to improve home safety. Educate patients and families on care plans, exercises, and self-care techniques. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with an active NJ OT license. Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in home healthcare. CPR certification, knowledge of home health regulations, strong clinical judgment, interpersonal skills, and compassion.
