Role Overview: Seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) with outpatient neuro experience to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion.
- Implement and revise treatment plans with patient and family input, providing education, discharge instructions, and referrals.
- Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment goals and discharge plans.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, patient education, and discharge details according to departmental standards.
- Adhere to ethical practices, maintain confidentiality, ensure punctuality, and communicate effectively with team members.
- Deliver excellent customer service, apply AIDET principles, foster teamwork, and promote a positive patient experience.
- Participate in professional development, complete required certifications, and support orientation and training of new staff.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Occupational Therapist license and BLS certification required.
- Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
