Occupational Therapist (OT) – Acute Care (PRN Days)

Role: Acute Care Occupational Therapist (OT) providing patient assessments, treatment planning, and rehabilitation services in a hospital setting.


Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and revising individualized treatment plans to restore or improve daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, and range of motion.
  • Collaborating with physicians and family to establish and evaluate care goals and discharge plans.
  • Providing patient and family education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources.
  • Documenting evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans according to departmental protocols.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Participating in team meetings, professional development, and mandatory training.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Licensure as an Occupational Therapist and BLS certification.
  • Effective communication, customer service focus, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
