Role: Acute Care Occupational Therapist (OT) providing patient assessments, treatment planning, and rehabilitation services in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Implementing and revising individualized treatment plans to restore or improve daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, and range of motion.
- Collaborating with physicians and family to establish and evaluate care goals and discharge plans.
- Providing patient and family education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources.
- Documenting evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans according to departmental protocols.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining confidentiality.
- Participating in team meetings, professional development, and mandatory training.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist and BLS certification.
- Effective communication, customer service focus, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
