Role: An Occupational Therapist provides skilled pediatric therapy services focused on development and feeding for infants, primarily in NICU, Early Intervention, or outpatient settings.
Responsibilities: Develops and implements individualized treatment plans, educates and collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare teams, delegates tasks to assistants and students, documents care accurately, and conducts assessments and consultations as needed.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and an active Occupational Therapist license. Preferred candidates hold a Master’s Degree. No prior experience required. Strong communication, collaboration, and assessment skills are essential.
Key Duties: Establish treatment goals considering discharge needs, provide interventions, educate families, coordinate with healthcare providers, delegate appropriately, and ensure proper documentation.
