Role Overview:
This position provides skilled occupational therapy services, including evaluation and treatment, to patients in a home care setting. Responsibilities involve developing treatment plans, educating patients and families, collaborating with healthcare providers, delegating tasks to assistants and students, and ensuring accurate documentation. The role requires assessing patient needs, determining appropriate interventions, and making referrals as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (OT)
- Valid Driver’s License and Occupational Therapist License
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to flexible hours, including potential weekend availability
Preferred Qualifications: A Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred.
Additional Details:
- Support for alternate hours and secondary role availability
- Mileage reimbursement at IRS standard rate
- Not benefit-eligible; PRN/as-needed basis
- Normal business hours are Monday through Friday, with potential community work
