Occupational Therapist – Home Health

Role Overview: An Occupational Therapist in Home Health provides assessments and evaluations of patients’ functional status, daily activities, fine motor skills, home environments, and adaptive equipment needs, within the scope of state laws and medical plans of care.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services in coordination with healthcare team members
  • Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and health status, consulting with physicians on care plans
  • Monitor, document, and report patient responses and condition changes
  • Conduct assessments using diagnostic and prognostic tests to determine functional levels
  • Operate effectively in diverse home settings regardless of client background

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Current Occupational Therapy license in Washington
  • Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, or access to transportation
  • Preferred: CPR certification, multitasking, independent work, strong communication, organizational skills
