Role Overview:
This position involves planning and conducting treatment programs to restore and enhance patients’ physical, social, and mental functions. The Occupational Therapist (OT) collaborates as a co-leader within an interdisciplinary team, providing individualized care and discharge plans, and ensuring proper documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Deliver therapy interventions using appropriate protocols and techniques.
- Supervise assigned therapy assistants.
- Communicate treatment plans effectively to relevant parties.
- Complete accurate clinical documentation within required deadlines.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD).
- Licensure in Occupational Therapy for the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred: Two years of occupational therapy experience.
Additional Requirements:
Adherence to safety protocols, vaccination policies, and participation in E-Verify are mandatory. The role emphasizes quality patient care, teamwork, and accurate clinical documentation.
