Occupational Therapist – Float

Role & Responsibilities:
The float Occupational Therapist plans and implements treatment programs for patients across all ages, from neonatal to geriatric, following established occupational therapy practices. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and provide coverage across various settings, including acute/inpatient, outpatient orthopedics, and neurologic rehabilitation.

Qualifications & Skills:
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, and hold either a Doctorate (OTD) or Master’s (MOT) in Occupational Therapy. Prior to 2007, relevant education standards are accepted. Preferred experience includes at least one year of clinical practice. The role requires a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of starting and a state license as an Occupational Therapist from the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners.
