Occupational Therapist – Float

Role Overview: The Occupational Therapist plans and implements treatment programs for patients across all age groups, from neonatal to geriatric, following established practices. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and may float to various locations, providing coverage in acute/inpatient, outpatient orthopedics, and neurologic rehabilitation settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members.
  • Provide therapy services across multiple clinical areas as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Doctorate (OTD) or Master’s (MOT) in Occupational Therapy; relevant education accepted for candidates prior to 2007.
  • Preferred: One year of clinical experience.
  • Licensure as a Licensed Occupational Therapist from the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required within 90 days of start date.
