Role Overview: The Occupational Therapist plans and implements treatment programs for patients across all ages, adhering to established practices. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and providing coverage across various settings, including acute/inpatient, outpatient orthopedics, and neurologic rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute personalized occupational therapy plans.
- Coordinate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide coverage in multiple clinical areas as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Doctorate (OTD) or Master’s (MOT) in Occupational Therapy preferred, with acceptable standards for prior education.
- Experience: Preferably one year of clinical experience; new graduates with appropriate credentials may be considered.
- Licensure/Certification: Valid BLS certification required within 90 days; licensed Occupational Therapist issued by the relevant state licensing board.
