Role: The float Occupational Therapist plans and implements treatment programs for patients from neonatal to geriatric, following accepted occupational therapy practices.
Responsibilities: Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and provides coverage across various settings including acute/inpatient, outpatient orthopedics, and neurologic rehabilitation.
Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or GED, along with a Doctorate (OTD) or Master’s (MOT) in Occupational Therapy. Relevant experience and licensure are essential.
Skills and Certifications: Preferred candidates have at least one year of clinical experience. Must hold a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire and be licensed by the appropriate state licensing board.
This role involves evaluating patient needs, developing treatment plans, and working within a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
