Occupational Therapist – Float

Role Overview:
The float Occupational Therapist plans and implements treatment programs for patients from neonatal to geriatric, adhering to established practices. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and provide coverage across various settings, including acute/inpatient, outpatient orthopedics, and neurologic rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide coverage across multiple clinical locations and patient populations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Doctorate (OTD) or Master’s (MOT) in Occupational Therapy preferred. Equivalent education accepted for candidates prior to 2007.
  • Experience: Preferred one year of clinical experience.
  • Certifications/Licenses:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required within 90 days.
    • Licensed Occupational Therapist from the relevant state licensing board.
