Role Overview:
Seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to deliver skilled therapy services within an acute care setting. Experience with diverse caseloads in ortho, neuro, general medicine, and ICU is preferred.
- Establishes treatment plans considering discharge needs, functional status, and required equipment.
- Educates and collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers, making referrals as needed.
- Delegates tasks to assistants, techs, and students based on their competency levels.
- Completes documentation in line with departmental policies.
- Provides assessments, reassessments, and consultations for occupational therapy services.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master’s preferred.
- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- No prior experience required, but supervision experience is not mandatory.
Key Duties: Conduct evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, educate patients and staff, delegate appropriately, and ensure thorough documentation.
