Occupational Therapy Team Leader

Role Overview

Lead and coordinate the occupational therapy team, supporting daily operations, scheduling, training, and communication with staff and hospital departments. Provide direct patient care, building relationships to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs, and help them achieve recovery goals. Supervise and assist the Director of Therapy Operations to ensure seamless treatment implementation and positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Assist with team management and operational tasks.

Deliver personalized, compassionate care to patients.

Foster patient progress and celebrate victories.

Support staff training and communication.

Contribute to a collaborative, technology-driven environment.

Qualifications & Skills

Current state licensure or certification.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in therapy from an accredited program.

At least three years of occupational therapy or leadership experience, including two years of clinical practice.

CPR certification (required or obtained within 30 days).

Preferred: active therapy clinical ladder participation or specialty certifications.
