Nurse Supervisor

Overview of the Nurse Supervisor Role

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and supervising nursing staff to ensure high-quality, compassionate, and personalized patient care during rehabilitation.
  • Developing and implementing patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Serving as a liaison between administration, management, and staff.
  • Monitoring staff performance through feedback, evaluations, and discipline.
  • Assuming direct patient care when needed and fostering meaningful relationships to support recovery.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Current RN licensure and BLS certification, with ACLS and CRRN certifications to be obtained within designated timeframes.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
  • At least two years of recent inpatient hospital experience.
  • Previous leadership experience, such as charge nurse, responsible for staff oversight and issue resolution.
