Role Summary: Provides comprehensive care to patients in collaboration with physicians, demonstrating autonomy in evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Orders and interprets diagnostic tests, prescribes medications within scope, and performs procedures as permitted. Engages in patient education, communication with the healthcare team, and ensures safe, ethical care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose patients, developing and implementing treatment plans.
- Accurately document patient information and order diagnostic tests, interpreting results to guide care.
- Prescribe, adjust, or discontinue medications and therapies appropriately.
- Report significant findings or risks to collaborating physicians.
- Perform procedures within licensed scope and communicate effectively with team members and patients.
- Provide health education and act as patient advocate, ensuring understanding and confidence.
- Follow policies and guidelines to meet organizational goals and deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills: Master’s Degree as a Nurse Practitioner is required. Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and adherence to safety and ethical standards are essential. Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical setting is expected.
