Nurse Practitioner (PRN)

The Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive palliative care services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and patient education, under physician supervision. They develop individualized care plans, prescribe medications, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and collaborate with patients, families, and community providers to enhance quality of life.

Essential functions involve conducting physical exams, managing advanced illnesses, reviewing clinical information, and ensuring symptom control. They communicate effectively with care teams, document care accurately, educate patients and families, and support continuity of care.

Additional duties include ensuring regulatory compliance, participating in quality improvement, pursuing ongoing professional development, and fostering community relationships.

Qualifications include licensure, certification, experience in hospice or palliative care, and strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills. The role offers a salary of $105,000–$125,000 with benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and flexible scheduling.
